Yaswant Vaddi received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in physics under the supervision of Prof. Robert W Boyd in the CERC group at the University of Ottawa.
His work in Boyd group focuses on understanding nonlinear light-matter interactions in epsilon-near-zero-based materials, on chip zero-index materials, nanofabrication and mode sorting using evanescent coupling of modes.
